Description

Collections contains photographic materials and printed matter related to the work of architect William T. Aldrich (1880-1966). Arranged into two series by material type. Photographic materials include thirteen unbound photograph albums depicting residential and commercial properties designed or renovated by William T. Aldrich. Albums were photographed by photographers Paul J. Weber and George H. Davis. Printed matter includes excerpts and copies of various publications, including House & Garden magazine, Zion’s Herald magazine, the American Architect, and Volume II of "The Great Modern Painters: English, French, German, etc., Medallists of Successive Universal Expositions: Steel-plates in Colors;” two photographs taken by George H. Davis; and a certificate to practice architecture for William Truman Aldrich from the State of Florida. Materials in the collection are dated 1884-1940.
