This album includes seventy five 8 x 10 inch black and white photographs by Henry Peabody. There is an index to the images in the album, which were taken circa 1900. There is an emphasis is on historic buildings (by virtue of antiquity or association with political, literary, or other notable New England figures) in Quincy, Salem, Marblehead, Gloucester, Danvers, Haverhill, Newburyport, Lexington, Concord, and Sudbury, Massachusetts; Hartford, Connecticut; Burlington, Vermont; and Lake Champlain. The quality of the photographs is very high. The front of the album reads, "New England Vol. 3."
