Description

A 7 x 10 inch photograph album with 22 black and white photographs, mostly 4 ½ x 7 ¼ inches, Hard red cover embossed with flowers and a bird. Album opens accordion style. Photographs of an unidentified Italianate house and presumably the family who lived there. Photos show family, children playing, interior and exterior views of the home, bicycles, horse and carriage, and landscapes. Although there is no location information or other identification, it has value for the style of interior rooms, clothing styles, and transportation of the period. Based on a street view showing electrical wires and the interior design and clothing, an educated guess would place the album circa 1890s.
