GUSN-268441
A family album containing members of the Story family and their relations. The album holds cabinet photos and cartes de visite on facing pages. Many of these are labeled with names, and some with family relationships. Photographers from Salem represented here are D.W. Bowdoin, Taylor & Preston, and Benjamin F. Jones. Notman Photo Co., Black & Case, and J.W. Black from Boston are also represented in this album. There are many good pictures of children, including one of a little boy in a skirt and straw hat with a bicycle, and another of a little girl with a large dog. There is also a portrait of a Civil War soldier in uniform and cabinet photos of illustrations of pre-photography members of the Story family.
