This album consists of photographs by Holden and Marion Green, probably in the 1940s, of houses which were moved, including photographs of the houses in their original locations as well as their new locations. Documented in this album is a house moved from Assonet, Mass. to Egypt, Mass.; homes moved from New Boston, New Hampshire, Falmouth, Mass. (belonging to Mrs. Thomas Brown); a house moved from Boscowan, New Hampshire, to Hopkinton, New Hampshire. The album also includes unidentified interior views and photographs of buildings in Framingham, Belmont, Milton, Whitman, and Woods Hole, Mass.; Little Compton, Rhode Island; and Peterboro and Gilmanton, New Hampshire. Photos appear to have been taken in the 1940s.
