This "album" consists of 2 folders of loose pages that are the residue of an album compiled by Russell Kettell. Deterioration of the album enclosure has resulted in the removal of several pages to the geographic files. Blueprints, found with the photographs, have been removed to the subject files, under the heading "blueprints" but will eventually be transferred to the architectural files. The remaining leaves appear to date to the early 1930s. These consist of views of domestic structures; architectural features (doors, etc.) and interior features such as staircases. Principal geographic emphasis is on historic structures in Salem, Newburyport, Danvers, Peabody, Waltham and Cambridge, Mass. And Kingston, Rhode Island. There are photographs of Annapolis, MD, Washington , D.C. and Philadelphia as well. There is also a folder of loose photographs of furniture. See also #56.
