1910-1930
album # 67, vol 1
GUSN-303227
Album of (primarily) postcard views of covered bridges in New England, and some other regions in which they occur. The specialized subject matter reflects the interest of their compiler, Mrs. John B. (Ida) Clapp who also donated a similar collection of 8 x 10" photographs of Vermont covered bridges to Historic New England, together with clippings and various narratives. Volume 1 consists of covered bridges in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. Dates appear to be between the 1910s-early 1930s.
