This album includes photomechanical prints of elevations, perspective drawings, and photographs of civic and residential buildings by the architectural firm of John Spofford and Charles Brigham. It was produced in 1894. The album documents the Methodist Church in Everett, Mass.; the State House in Augusta, Maine; the Washburn residence in Melrose, Mass.; and the Shaler House in Brookline, Mass. See pages 8, 13, 18, and 32 for wallpaper. The album also includes proposed plans for homes and hotels. Of particular interest are buildings in Lewiston and Bangor, Maine and residential work in Boston suburbs including Waltham. The album also includes advertisments related to architectural subjects.
