Summer is the perfect time for fun at one of Historic New England’s farm properties!
At Casey Farm in Saunderstown, R.I., we offer half-day, one day, three day, and full week camps for children ages 3 to 13; and at Spencer-Peirce-Little Farm in Newbury, Mass, we have week-long summer enrichment programs for ages 5 to 11. All programs are run by our staff of professional educators and councilors and take full advantage of our beautiful historic properties.

At Spencer-Peirce-Little Farm, we run three one-week sessions of Little Farmers for children ages 5-8 in July. The program runs Monday – Friday, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. We also offer one week of Farm Adventures for children ages 8-11 in the first week of August, Monday-Friday, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.
At Casey Farm, camp season starts as soon as school is out! Full day and half day Summer Fun programs begin in late June before week-long camps begin, and pick up again in mid-August. Summer Fun Half-Days are intended for children ages 3-6 accompanied by a caregiver and run from 9:00-12:00, with each morning exploring a different aspect of farm life, while Summer Fun Days are each a full day, 9:00-3:00, devoted to a theme, from pirates to making old fashioned food to carnival games! The age range for each day varies by theme. Week-long camps run for 6 one week sessions in July and August. Little Ducklings for ages 4-5 is held on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings and Farm Friends (ages 5-6), Growing Together (ages 6-8), and Farm Explorers (ages 9-12) are all Monday-Friday, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.
