GUSN-273394
Heavy leather-bound album of 10 cabinet photos and 6 cartes-de-visite. An elegant album with brown marbleized paper. Portraits may all be of one family. There are no identification or dates available, but this is probably also from the late 19th century. Another good study album for presentation, costume of sitters, and photography. One of two albums appear to have belonged to Silas Parsons Cook, a minister in Swanzey, New Hampshire. Related family names are Parsons and MacNeil.
Cabinet photographers include:
E. M. White, Keene, New Hampshire
Steffens Atelier, Chicago, Illinois
Cartes-de-visite photographers include:
E. R. Gates, Woodstock, Vermont
Cross Bros. Brooklyn, New York
Pach, New York City
