Description

Series contains thirteen unbound photograph albums depicting properties designed or renovated by architect William T. Aldrich. Albums primarily depict residential properties; one commercial property is also photographed. Albums contain interior and exterior photographs of the properties. Properties photographed include the Shreve, Crump & Low flagship store in Boston, Massachusetts; the Sturges Residence in Providence, R.I.; the Rhode Island School of Design Museum's Eliza G. Radeke Building in Providence, R.I.; the Aldrich Mansion in Warwick, R.I., the Frederick E. and Albina Bodell House in Providence, R.I; the residences of George Mixter, H. P. Metcalf, D. E. Jackson, and W. S. Barrett; and unidentified residences. Twelve of the thirteen albums were photographed by architectural photographer Paul J. Weber. Album 5, PC009.228.001.005, was photographed by photographer George H. Davis. Albums are dated circa 1930.
