Description

Bound black photographic album containing 167 black-and-white photographic prints, the majority of which are panoramas. The photographs depict individuals playing football with a particular focus on a team based in Haverhill, Massachusetts. Handwritten notations throughout indicate where other teams were from, including Lowell, Waltham, Medford, Beverly, and Malden, Massachusetts, among others. Notations also identify plays carried out in a portion of the photographic prints, indicating the album may have served as a training tool for athletes. Contains 60 pages, 17 of which are blank. The photographer and compiler of this album are unknown. Dated 1932. A number of pages have separated from the spine, and a small portion of photographs are missing.
