GUSN-194705
Album compiled by K.A.P. containing 75 views of Woodstock, VT and surroundings, including Tyson, VT, circa 1901-1915. K.A.P., who studied architecture with George Edward Barton, photographed the interior of Barton's office in the Billings Block, Woodstock. Interiors of another architects' office over Boyce's store, and the clerk's office are also included. In addition to the architectural and scenic views which dominate the album, there are excellent images of men fishing, camping, canoeing, playing football, loading a camera, cutting up ice on the Kedron River, and admiring the destruction to town structures after the "Big Wind." Identified subjects include George Edward Barton, Dr. R.W. Boyce, Linn Fairbanks, Hugo Goodwin (an organist), K.A.P., Alida Goodwin Pember, and Dr. E.L. (Tink) Woodward. New automobiles are also featured.
