Photo album titled "Bedroom 42." Title is hand printed on a round paper label affixed to spine; volume number is also printed on a paper label that had been affixed to spine. Volume number label is loose and has been placed inside front cover. Album has a heavy textured dark brown covering and is held together with two metal brads. Album has 114 olive green pages; 32 of the pages are blank. Album contains 82 mounted black-and-white photographs. Photographs are of a variety of coordinating bedroom furniture pieces manufactured by A. H. Davenport Co., Irving and Casson, and their successor, Irving and Casson - A. H. Davenport Co. Types of furniture shown include: beds, cabinets, bureaus, chests, chests of drawers, chiffionieres, mirrors, night stands, stools, side chairs, desks, dressing tables and other tables. The order number and year are often shown on a display in the photographs; model numbers are also provided in some cases. No customer names are noted. The album also contains a pencil drawing of a mahogany bureau (CC010.002.119.001). The sketch is between pages 94 and 95; the photograph on page 95 shows the finished bureau.
