Photo album titled: "Dining Room Chairs 47." Title is hand printed on a round paper label; volume number is printed on a rectangular paper label. Both labels had been affixed to spine; spine covering is now loose and labels are stored inside front album cover. Album has a heavy textured dark brown covering and is held together with two metal brads. Album has 116 olive green pages; fifteen of the pages are blank. Album contains four loose and 101 mounted black-and-white photographs. Photographs are of a variety of dining room chairs manufactured by A. H. Davenport Co., Irving and Casson, and their successor, Irving and Casson - A. H. Davenport Co. Both arm chairs and side chairs are shown in a variety of styles. The order number and year are often shown on a display in the photographs; model numbers are also provided in some cases. One customer name -- Bethlehem Shipbuilding Corp. (Quincy, MA). -- is noted on an album page. Digital images of a selection of photographs from the album are attached to this record
