Photo album titled: "Clothes Poles and Umbrella Stands, Chevals 43." Title is hand printed in black on front cover; title and volume number are hand printed in black on spine. Album has a beige fabric covering and 78 dark gray pages, all of which are now loose. Six of the pages are blank. Album contains 72 mounted black-and-white photographs. Photographs are of a variety of clothes poles, umbrella stands, chevals and related objects manufactured by A. H. Davenport Co, Irving and Casson, and their successor, Irving and Casson - A. H. Davenport Co. The order number and year are often shown on a display in the photographs; model numbers are provided in some cases. Customer names are handwritten on some album pages. Named customers are: Louie Baer (Winchester, MA); Curtis Publishing Co. (Philadelphia, PA); E. Parmalee Prentice (Williamstown, MA); and Starrett Bros. (Providence, RI).
