Description

Photo album titled: "Dining Room Chairs 62." Title is hand printed on a round paper label affixed to spine; volume number is also printed on a rectangular paper label. This label and spine binding has come loose and is inside front cover. Album has heavy textured dark brown covering and is held together with two metal brads. Album has 138 olive green pages; fifteen of the pages are blank. Album contains 125 mounted black-and-white photographs. Photographs are of a vairety of of dining room arm chairs and side chairs manufactured by A. H. Davenport Co., Irving and Casson, and their successor, Irving and Casson - A. H. Davenport Co. Chairs in three photographs, however, may not be the work of these firms. The order number and year are often shown on a display in the photographs; model numbers are also provided in some cases. No customer names are noted. Digital images of a selection of photographs from the album are attached to this record
