Description

Photo album lacking title and volume number. Album has a heavy textured dark brown covering and is held together with two metal brads. Covering has been lost on spine. Album has 80 olive green pages; eight of the pages are blank. Album contains 76 mounted black-and-white photographs. Photographs are of a variety of church furnishings manufactured by A. H. Davenport Co., Irving and Casson, and their successor, Irving and Casson - A. H. Davenport Co. Most photographs are of carved details of larger pieces, although there are some complete pieces such as communion rails and doors.The order number and year are sometimes shown on a display in the photographs. Customer names are also handwritten on some album pages. Customers included are: Alpha Delta Phi Lodge Room; Christ Church (Cranbrook, MI); Church of Holy Communion (Jersey City, NJ); Church of the Heavenly Rest (New York, NY): Church of the Messiah (Rhinebeck, NY); Grace Church (New York, NY); Huntington Seminary (Lloyd Harbor, NY); Park Avenue M. E.
