Family tree that shows descendants of John Endicott (circa 1588-1665), who became the first (and longest-serving) governor of Massachusetts Bay Colony, serving in that post and others intermittently between 1629 and his death. The tree partially traces eight generations of Gov. John Endicott's descendants, including birth, marriage, residential, and death information for most of the family members. The latest date on the tree is 1825; however, there are several empty circles on the chart, indicating that perhaps the chart's creator intended to extend the family tree further. The creator of the tree is not identified. Written in pencil on the back of the chart is a note indicating that the family tree was part of a purchase from the Fowler House in Danvers, Mass., in 1937.
