Description

Account book documenting the work of Daniel B. Waite between June 1868 and January 1871. Entries relate to the purchase of raw materials (jeweler's supplies, tools, metals and machinery), sales to other companies and wages paid to laborers--both job work and hourly wages specificed as well as specialty work performed. Also included are 13 pages of detailed stock inventories for 1870 and 1871, and a descriptive inventory of the firm's machinery, tools, shaftings and office furniture. Large octavo, half red calf and green cloth totaling 148 pages including blanks.
