This 1848-1849 daybook of the Cleveland General Store in the area of Bedford, Vermont lists purchases, including groceries, meats, fabrics, household needs, occasional items of clothing, lumber, and hardware sold to individual buyers. There are also additional materials: 1 page from a children's magazine; an 1890 theater program; 5 children's tracings; and 14 pages re-used as a scrapbook for nineteenth century printed poems and stories.
