Description

This subseries includes glass plate and acetate or nitrate negatives of different flowers and herbs. The negatives depict individual flowers, but also flowers within gardens and manicured lawns in Sudbury, Massachusetts, Hartford, Connecticut, Alfred, Maine, and other New England locations. Also included are images of Mrs. Foote's rose garden, in Marblehead, Massachusetts and Baker's Garden, whose location is unknown. Negatives 1363 - 1369 1465, 1467, 1482, and 1503 are nitrate negatives and have been removed to box 19, container 0000017835.
