This subseries includes glass plate and acetate or nitrate negatives of three famous disasters in New England. Images include scenes of the Hollis St. Theatre collapse during its demolition on September 18, 1935 and of the Pickwick Club collapse, where 44 people died when the floor of a dance club fell in. The subseries also includes an image of a wreck of a roller coaster at Nantasket Beach
