With an embossed cover, this scrapbook contains a nicely arranged and extensive collection of trade cards for companies advertising hatters, soap makers, boots & shoes, pencils, stove polish, groceries and threads, many from the Boston area. Many of the depictions convey social commentary in gently humorous scenes using children, animals, birds and costumes. Binding is loose.
