This large scrapbook contains many stickers, greeting cards, trade cards, and illustrated clippings, often decorated with images of children, animals, birds and flowers. Subjects of trade cards include sewing machines and threads, stoves, coach oil, horse nails, lawn mowers, baby food, and other domestic goods. Sporting, hunting and fishing scenes are included, as well as a partial calendar from 1906. Of special interest are 15 illustrated souvenir cards from the Centennial Exposition in Philadelphia in 1876 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of American Independece. Buildings featured are the Ladies Pavilion, Main Exhibition Building, Japanese Building, English Building, and the Leather Building, among others.
