Description

The Weston Paper Works on the Housatonic River is seen in the print with two smaller images showing the front of the mill and the counting room. The top of the image has various medals won by the company. Byron Curtis Weston was the paper company founder and a Lieutenant Governor of Massachusetts (1880-1883). Weston was the maternal grandfather of chef Julia Child.
