The certificate is engraved with images of Archimedes on one side and a ship with a flag and a Massachusetts banner on the other. There is a cornucopia and bee hive across the bottom, and an arm and hammer with the words "Be Just and Fear Not" across the top. The certificate is mounted on a wood backing.
