Description

Engraving of former Massachusetts governor Leverett Saltonstall from the 20th century. Printed by Gravure Engraving Company in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The print is signed by renowned portrait photographer John Garo on the bottom left of the recto. In ink, the following message is written along the bottom: "To a loyal friend + helpful, disinterested, / public spirits ciritizen - Charlie Watkins from / Leverett Saltonstall." The engraving had been framed by Carl E. Nelson Pictures and Frames in Boston, Massachusetts.
