This series contains tintype portraits of unidentified children and pairs of adults. All portraits have been colored or outlined in some way, although the extent and technique varies. The studio settings and backgrounds in some tintypes have been painted in detail (rather than covered, as seen in Series I). There is one portrait with identified subjects (PC068-130) and one wedding portrait (PC068-137). At least one of the Series III tintype portraits was assembled from two separate photographs (PC068-140).
