Unbound album stored in black leather cover embossed with gold lettering reading "W. S. Barrett" on binding. Album contains nine sepia-toned gelatin prints, four exterior and five interior views, taken by architectural photographer Paul J. Weber. The house was designed by architect William T. Aldrich, likely for painter William S. Barrett (1854-1927).
The location of the house photographed is unknown. Exterior views depict a house with the number "768" on its front gate. A view from the street shows a beautiful fence across and front and an elaborate front porch with arched Italianate columns. The interior views depict the furniture and decor of the dining room, study, hallway and living room; the latter shows a fireplace surrounded by reeded pilasters and painting above. All nine prints are signed by Weber in the bottom right corner. The following is stamped on the verso of all nine prints: "Paul J. Weber / Architectural photographer."
