Description

Unbound album stored in black leather cover embossed with gold lettering reading "D. E. Jackson" on the binding. Album contains fourteen sepia-toned gelatin prints, including six exterior and eight interview views, taken by architectural photographer Paul J. Weber. The house was designed by architect William T. Aldrich. The location of the house photographed is unknown. The exterior views show the brick Federal-style house and its grounds, including a columned front entrance. The interior views highlight a front hall and staircase, a dining room with scenic wallpaper. a parlor with a fireplace and elaborate moldings, and a library with a fireplace and paneling. All fourteen prints are signed by Weber in the bottom right corner. The following is stamped on the verso of all fourteen prints: "Paul J. Weber / Architectural photographer."
