Description

The painting of Edward Bromfield by John Greenwood depicts him wearing a robe and a beret. He is shown with one hand gesturing towards a cylindrical object, possibly a scientific instrument, placed on a table beside him. The phorograph was taken at Bromfield School, Harvard, Massachusetts. The painting was restored in 1908-9 by the MFA.
