[from Marrett Family Papers] "This is a view of the base ball [sic] field where Mr. Newcomb watched a game for about an hour. Carrie and I spent the time on the veranda of the Casino with a broad outlook over the ocean. / Alice Scott and her "boyfriend" were guests in our party. The young man acted as chauffer. Mr Newcomb enjoyed the trip exceedingly - especially the lobster and clam dinner."
