Series II: Other papers includes manuscripts, materials related to the Garden Club of America and Hamilton House, and artwork. Manuscript materials include Elizabeth (Tyson) Vaughans (1871-1949) account book; Vaughans diary reflecting her social activities in and around Boston and Cambridge, Massachusetts; a short narrative recounting the life of Sally Russell (dates unknown); a recipe book; and genealogical material relating to the Vaughan, Tyson, and Anthony families. The series also contains brochures from several annual meetings of the Garden Club of America held across the nation, which document Vaughans longstanding involvement with the organization. Hamilton House materials include curatorial correspondence as well as Society for the Preservation of New England Antiquities (SPNEA) marketing materials and a 1958 winter issue of SPNEAs Old-Time New England. The artwork is comprised of an unidentified watercolor of a ship and several circa 1870s fashion plates. The series is arranged into four subseries.
