Letter of credit for sisters Nanna and Marie Sweet of Boston, Mass., from Kidder, Peabody & Co. on behalf of Baring Brothers & Co. for the amount of 400 livres, dated May 28th, 1903. The included balance sheet lists withdrawals made at banks in Scotland and England in the summer of 1903, presumably while the sisters were traveling. The letter of credit also includes a list of cities around the world and corresponding banks which will honor the monetary amount listed.
