One albumen print of the Peter Tufts House, formerly and incorrectly known as the Cradock House, in Medford, Massachusetts. The Peter Tufts House was built from 1677-1680. The photographer is unknown. The print is dated to the late 19th century. The print measures at 7 x 10 inches. On the verso of the mount, the following is written: "Craddock [sp] House. Medford, Mass / 1634 [illegible] (first [underlined] brick building in New England)." In a different hand, the phrase "from Baker, October, 1952." is written along the right side of the verso. The Peter Tufts House is the oldest brick building in Massachusetts.
