Then it describes the route and offers testimonials in support. The book also details the plans for a canal connecting Cape Cod Bay and Buzzards Bay, including financial estimations and hypotheses on the volume of the traffic. The back cover of the book contains a fold-out map of Cape Cod and a possible canal route.
