This paper plate printed to look like fine china is illustrated with portraits of Ida (Saxton) McKinley and Mary (Baird) Bryan, wives of the main opposing candidates in the 1896 presidential election (William McKinley and William Jennings Bryan). The plate also depicts the McKinley and Bryan homes as well as the White House.
