Design drawing titled "Carved Walnut Chair, Style of Charles II" rendered in watercolor and pencil. Perspective view is shown. Large armchair has square upholstered back with braid and fringe trim at bottom edge; curved arms with scrolled hand holds; upholstered seat with braid and fringe trim at lower edge; round rear legs with rectangular block feet; cabriole front legs with scroll toes; large front stretcher with central cartouche; and H-stretchers. Elaborate foliate carving over all wood surfaces except rear legs. Title and "Irving & Casson / A. H. Davenport Co. / Boston & New York" are handwritten on drawing.
