Large armchair has square upholstered back with braid and fringe trim at bottom edge; curved arms with scrolled hand holds; upholstered seat with braid and fringe trim at lower edge; round rear legs with rectangular block feet; cabriole front legs with scroll toes; large front stretcher with central cartouche; and H-stretchers. Elaborate foliate carving over all wood surfaces except rear legs. Title and "Irving & Casson / A. H. Davenport Co. / Boston & New York" are handwritten on drawing.
