Description

Federal field/canopy bed of red-stained hardwood, with turned and tapered posts on tapered square-post legs with relief-decorated brass medallion ornaments at the front of each foot-post (marking upper and lower sections of each post), with plain, pointed headboard and channeled side rails; high and rounded red-stained canopy with 2 bars at top, 2 between posts (top of posts shortened canopy not original to bed).
