Design drawing titled "Sideboard of Mahogany" rendered in pencil on trace. Front, top and side views are shown. Empire-style rectangular sideboard has splashboard with concave curved corners and two recessed drawers with canted front corners at ends; plain frieze; two cabinets separated by a central void; and paneled sides. Cabinets are flanked by scrolled pilasters with relief carving of acanthus leaves and bellflowers, terminating in large paw feet. Cabinets sit on solid bases with molded top edges. Branch veneer used on frieze and cabinet doors; figured wood is used on splashboard and sides. Title, dimensions, design notes, "N. B. Ream" and "49829" are handprinted in pencil. Also written in red is "7630."
