Nancy R. Coolidge

Nancy R. Coolidge is a passionate advocate for preservation and museums in Massachusetts. She served as Director of Historic New England for 14 years and is considered an extraordinary leader in the organization’s history.

In 1979, Nancy became a founding member of the Fidelity Non-Profit Management Foundation, where she served for 35 years. She is also a founding member of the Lynch Foundation and has served as a Trustee of The Society for the Preservation of New England Antiquities (now Historic New England), Bay Bank Harvard Trust, the Massachusetts Historical Society, the Nichols House Museum, the Henderson Foundation, the Boston Preservation Alliance, Historic Massachusetts, Preservation Action, the Advent School, and the Beacon Hill Nursery School.

She is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College with Honors in English Literature, as well as the Harvard Radcliffe Program in Business Administration.

Stephen S. Lash

Stephen S. Lash is Chairman Emeritus of Christie's, having served as Chairman for nearly a decade. He joined Christie's in 1976, and initiated the launch of the firm’s auctions in the United States on Park Avenue in New York City. Prior to joining Christie's, Mr. Lash was a Vice President at the investment banking firm of S.G. Warburg & Co. in London and New York. Mr. Lash is a native New Englander, growing up in Brookline, Massachusetts, and the longtime owner of a home in Connecticut.

Mr. Lash has served as President and Trustee of the Institute of Fine Arts of New York University. He is a former Trustee of the Museum of the City of New York, the Park Avenue Armory, the Preservation League of New York State, and the New York Landmarks Conservancy, where he served as Chairman. He is also current Co-Chair of the American Friends of the Israel Museum, of which he served as President for six years, and was a mayoral appointee to the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission.

Mr. Lash received a B.A. from Yale and an M.B.A. from Columbia.
