Neoclassical-style arm chair has molded shield-shaped back with serpentine crest; carved foliage on crest; pierced splat with carved kylix and garlands in an oval cartouche at top and carved rosette within curving ribs; molded stiles; curved arms and continuous arm supports with scrolled handholds; seat with serpentine front skirt, over-the-rail upholstery and single row of metal tacks along lower edge; raked rectangular rear legs; and tapered molded square legs in front. "Detail 803" and design notes are handwritten on drawing. Companion side chair is CC010.001.00.036.006. Other related designs are CC010.001.006.005.001 and CC010.001.006.005.002.
