6/1987: Please note: One document box of negatives (Box 214A), largely consisting of small negatives exposed by Dorothy Codman (?) in the course of her travels, has been kept with the manuscripts collection in the library stacks, rather than placed in negative storage. Also in this document box are several notebooks (small) which annotate quite fully the persons/places represented in the snapshots. Presumably (but not definitely!) there exist corresponding snapshot views in Dorothy Codman's albums, but this is not certain, so researchers should check loose photo files.
