Description

The image shows a tablet known as the "Boston Tea Party Tablet" located at Griffins Wharf. The tablet commemorates the Boston Tea Party, which occurred on December 16, 1773, when approximately ninety citizens of Boston, partly disguised, boarded three British ships to protest the taxation on tea by throwing 342 chests into the sea.
