Subseries A, Correspondence, 1806-1846 (#C.1.1-C.1.4, C.3.14), contains correspondence sent and received by James Rundlet (1780-1852). Also included in the subseries is a letter book. Among the letters received are correspondence from Mann & Barnard (1806); Benjamin Wiggin (1813); Charles Carter (1818); Q. Andrews (1844); William P. Haines (1844); Davis, Brooks & Company (1845); William Green (1845); James S. Bell (1845); and Prime, Ward & King (1846). The letters sent include correspondence to Caleb Stark (1812); Mrs. A. Pagan (1812); J. Biddle (1815); John Wharton (1815); an anonymous recipient regarding the estate of Mr. Lyde (1829); Dana, Fenno & Bolles (1830); John Samuel Rundlet (1830); Alexander Hamilton (1837-1838); and Davis Brooks & Company (1838). Unrelated letters include correspondence from Joseph Love to Berthon & Voister (1811); Andrew Simpson to Berthon & Voister (1811); and from S.R. Hawley to Michael McClary, Esq. (1822). The subseries is arranged chronologically.
