Description

Subseries A. Clubs and organizations, 1929-1930, undated (#2.46-2.47, 2.49-2.51) includes materials related to Antoinette Louise Pierce's membership in the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). These materials include a report of the meeting of the DAR held at the Pierce House in November 1929, written by Carrie M. W. Weis, the Chapter Historian in early 1930 and the poem, "The Rhyme of the Old Pierce Tree," written by Pierce for the meeting.
