Social issue posters, circa 1970

Description

Two screen printed protest posters. The first poster depicts a hand holding an olive branch. It reads "The strike is for everyone" and "Join the strike for peace." It 28 1/2 x 21 1/2 inches and dated circa 1970. The creator is unknown. The second poster is an advertisement for the HELP Program of Boston, an organization that provides free services such as birth control, draft counseling, and psychiatric help. The organization was located on Tremont Street in Boston. It is 24 x 18 1/4 inches and dated circa 1970.
