The booklet informing consumers about the operations of the Southern New England Telephone Company, the departments, their employees, and their responsibilities. The Southern New England Telephone Company was based in New Haven, Connecticut. The booklet also provides information about new technology being implemented, such as mobile telephone service in cars, and The Connecticut Union of Telephone Workers, Inc., a union which represented the employees of the telephone company. Throughout the booklet are images of the female employees completing various tasks. The booklet was published by the Southern New England Telephone Company in March 1947.
