Description

Series contains design drawings and photographs depicting a variety of furnishings manufactured by A. H. Davenport Co., Irving and Casson, and their successor Irving and Casson - A. H. Davenport Co.

The design drawings include beds, case goods, chairs, tables, mantles, and support furnishings like clocks, costumers, lamps, mirrors, and wastebaskets. Also present is one printed image that shows designs in color and black and white marked "William Leavens & Co., Inc., Manufacturers, Boston, Mass." Also present are two mounted photographs, one showing a chest of drawers and one showing a lamp with a drawing of a woven chair rendered in pen and watercolor on trace.

The photographs and cyanotypes include beds, benches, candlesticks, case goods, chairs, chaise longues, desks, dressing tables, ecclesiastical furnishings, lamps, lowboys, mantles, mirrors, screens, sofas, stools, support furnishings, and tables.
